Nicholas is a British writer based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. He grew up in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

 

His short story 'It is Summer at Camp Pomodoro' was longlisted in the 2019 Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award and the Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize. His stories have also placed in the the London Magazine Short Story Prize, The Fish Publishing Short Story Prize, and the Short Fiction Journal Short Story Prize, and have been shortlisted in the Desperate Literature Short Story Prize and the Bristol Short Story Prize, among others.

 

Short fiction publications include The New England Review, The Brixton Review of Books, The Moth, Litro, The London Magazine, Short Fiction Journal, and both the Bath and Bristol short story award anthologies.
